The clients had recently moved to their dream house but the garden was non-existant. The car parking space, under the shade of a mature copper beach tree was the only 'garden' (see last picture)

We redesigned the garden layout and the planting with the client organising the hard landscaping locally.

Drifts of grasses and clumps of shuttlecock and painted lady ferns and airy perennial planting will be the perfect counterpoint to the hard landscaping.

The curved raised bed is planted with tall grasses and perennials to help blur the boundaries and link the garden to the mature beech trees behind. Subtle spots of colour punctuate the greens, while the planting in the gravel brings year round texture, colour and structure throughout winter.
