The clients had recently moved to their dream house but the garden was non-existant. The car parking space, under the shade of a mature copper beach tree was the only 'garden' (see last picture)

We redesigned the garden and the planting. All the hard landscaping was organised by the client.

Drifts of grasses and clumps of shuttlecock and painted lady ferns and airy perennial planting will be the perfect counterpoint to the hard landscaping.

The curved raised bed will have tall miscanthus malepartus to help blur the boundaries and link it to the beech trees behind. Subtle spots of colour will punctuate the greens, while the planting in the gravel will maintain its form and add height, colour and structure throughout winter. Bulbs will be planted this autumn for spring 2023.

Begun in Spring 2022. Ongoing
